OTTAWA, ON, Sept. 8, 2026 /CNW/ -- The Office of the Superintendent of Financial Institutions (OSFI) is pleased to welcome back Josée Turcotte as Deputy Superintendent, Integrity, National Security and Integrated Solutions, effective today. Ms. Turcotte's appointment was announced by Superintendent Peter Routledge in June 2026.

As Deputy Superintendent, Integrity, National Security and Integrated Solutions, Ms. Turcotte will lead OSFI's work to address threats to the integrity and security of federally regulated financial institutions, including national security and money laundering-related threats. Ms. Turcotte will also oversee integrated solutions functions that provide critical enterprise services and capabilities, helping ensure OSFI remains well positioned to deliver on its mandate and modernize its regulatory data collection and analysis.

Ms. Turcotte rejoins OSFI from the Ontario Securities Commission, where she most recently served as Executive Vice President, Chief Operating Officer and Chief of Staff. She previously served as Executive Director of OSFI's Emerging Risk Operations Directorate, where she led the management of non-financial risks and the development of OSFI's regulatory responses in areas including climate risk, digital innovation, technology and cybersecurity, third-party risk, culture and compliance, and integrity and security.

Ms. Turcotte holds a Master of Laws in business law from Osgoode Hall Law School and civil law and common law degrees with honours from the University of Ottawa. She also holds the ICD.D designation and is a member in good standing of both the Ontario and Quebec bars.
