    Vale Base Metals ("VBM") today announced it is partnering with three companies to create a new consortium of owners that will invest up to US$200 million (C$280 million) to secure the future of nickel mining and jobs in Thompson, Manitoba. Exiro Minerals Corp. ("Exiro"), Orion Resource Partners LP ("Orion"), and Canada Growth Fund Inc. ("CGF") will form a new company alongside Vale Base Metals to invest in the Thompson Mine Complex. Exiro, Orion and CGF will own 81.1% of the new company, while VBM will own an 18.9% minority stake.

    Damon Murchison has been appointed President and CEO of IGM and will retain his role as President and CEO of IG Wealth Management (IG). Mr. O'Sullivan is succeeding Jeffrey Orr, who Power Corporation announced will become Vice-Chair of Power. The appointments will be effective July 1, 2026.
  8. Altus Group Announces the Sale of its Canadian Appraisals Business to Newmark 
    The acquisition is expected to close on or about March 1, 2026, subject to customary closing conditions. Altus' Canadian Appraisals business will become part of Newmark's Valuation & Advisory offering. Newmark has also entered into a multi-year license agreement with Altus Group for global access to ARGUS Intelligence, among its other software and data offerings, expanding Newmark's Valuation & Advisory's performance analytics software and data subscriptions.
  9. Teine Energy Ltd. Announces Duvernay Tuck-in Acquisition
    Teine Energy Ltd. ("Teine") announces that it has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire all the outstanding shares of TMax Energy Ltd., increasing Teine's total Duvernay acreage to over 700 sections. Teine is currently producing over 10,000 boe per day within the Carrot Creek Duvernay lands. Teine was represented by Bennett Jones LLP.
